Brandpa’s normal limit is 15 keywords per domain.

However, there are some rare exceptions for domains added before 2020. Some old domains could have more than 15 domains. If a domain currently has more than 15 keywords, it is limited to the number of keywords it currently has.

To understand why this is necessary: older domains could specify multi-word keywords, like “Sweet potato mash”. In our new keyword system, these would be broken into three separate keywords: “Sweet” + “Potato” + “Mash”. So even though the original seller had complied with our limit of 15 keywords, they might now be breaking it, through no fault of their own. To avoid having to delete their extra keywords, or forcing them to edit all of their old listings, we allow the higher volume of keywords in these cases.
